About Arkansas Accomodations
Arkansas is a state that lies very close to the center of the U.S. It has been given the nickname "The Natural State," and those who vacation here will understand the full extent of this name. Unlike many states, Arkansas is not heavily industrialized, and the land is comrpised largely of wilderness and forests. While this may be disconcerting to people who are looking for lots of clubs, restaurants, and attractions, Arkansas is the ideal place for people who are looking to get away from the hustle of major cities. Even Little Rock, the largest city in state, has a lot of natural appeal. Arkansas has a rich history, and blues and bluegrass music is very popular here.
Like many states in the South, the people here are known for their hospitality. The state parks are very impressive, and those who enjoy the outdoors will not want to leave without visiting the Buffalo River. In addition to the Buffalo National River, another popular attraction is the Hot Springs National Park. The climate of this state is humid and hot, especially during the summer months. Spring months is called the tornado season, and safety precautions should be taken if you are traveling through the state at this time. Those who wish to fly into the state may need to go through the Little Rock National Airport. When you are not enjoying the outdoors, Little Rock will offer you the best restaurants, clubs, and shopping that the state has to offer. However, even Little Rock doesn't have the feel of most capital cities.
