About Colorado Accomodations
Colorado is a state that sits in close proximity to the Rocky Mountains. Some of the highest peaks from the mountain range can be found in this state, and it is also home to a number of impressive national parks. For wealthier tourists, the most popular vacation spot in this state is Aspen. This resort is visited by both celebrities and politicians on a regular basis, and it is one of the most beautiful places in the region. The largest and most prominent city here is Denver, is this is where you will find all the best clubs and restaurants, as well as a vibrant nightlife. In addition to Aspen, there are a number of other popular ski resorts in the area.
Some of them include Beaver Creek and Telluride. Some of the popular national monumnets in Colorado include the Colorado National Monument and the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Because of the mountainous terrain which makes up this state, Colorado is very popular when it comes to mountain climbing. There are a number of mountains in the state that have an elevation in excess of 14,000 feet, and a number of experienced climbers challenge these peaks on a regular basis. Whitewater Rafting is also popular, and some of the facilities are open to the public throughout the year. Some of the festivals which are frequently held in this state include the Mesa Verde Country Wine & Art Festival. Another popular festival is the Taste of Colorado, an event in which restaurants set up booths for the public.
