About Idaho Accomodations
Idaho is a state that is located in the Rocky Mountain region of the U.S. The state is known for its rugged terrain, but it is also home to forests, rivers, and deserts. A large percentage of the northern part of the state is either a state forest or a national forest. As you can imagine, this makes Idaho a great place to visit for tourists who enjoy outdoor activities. It is good for biking, hiking, whitewater rafting, and mountain climbing. A large portion of the southern part of the state is used for farming. In recent years, Boise has become an important tourist center as well as a technological hub. It is the capital of the state, and it is also the largest city.
Those who wish to visit the state university will want to head to the city of Moscow, which is a college town as well as a city that deals heavily in agriculture. Those who enjoy bungee jumping will want to head to Twin Falls, which is home of the Perrine Bridge. This is also the site where Evel Kneivel once attempted to jump the river on a motorcycle that had a rocket pack attached to it. If you are looking for the top ski resorts in Idaho, you will want to head to Sun Valley. Some of the national parks which are regular tourist attractions include the Craters of the Moon National Monument, the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness, and Yellowstone National Park. Idaho is also home to the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail.
