Indiana is a state that can be found in the Midwestern portion of the U.S. A large percentage of this state is used for farmland, and it has a number of impressive national parks. Those who fly into Indiana will need to go through the Indianapolis International Airport. In addition to the high occurence of crime that occurs in Gary, Indiana is frequently the target of tornados. Those who visit the state should be aware of this.

Some of the festivals which are popular in Indiana include the Indiana State Fair, which is held during the month of August. This is the largest event that is held in the state, with the notable exception of the Indy 500 race, which brings in visitors from around the world. The Indiana state fair will last for about two weeks, and it is a great time to view crafts, arts, shows, and dancing. It should be noted that the Indy 500 race has the most attendants of any racing event on the planet. Some of the restaurants which are connected to this state includes Ami's and the Overlook Inn. For those who enjoy eating steak, the St. Elmos Steakhouse is very popular.
