About North Dakota Accomodations
North Dakota is a state that is located in the Great Plains region. As of 2007, it is one of the most least populated states in the U.S., with a total population of about 640,000. Two of the largest cities in the state are both Fargo and Bismarck. Many college students will be present in the town of Grand Forks. While North Dakota is the state that is visited the least, it still offers much to tourists who take the time to travel there. There are a large number of outdoors activities that are available here, and these include skiing, biking, fishing, birding, and boating. For those that enjoy golf, there are nearly 14 courses in the state.
There are also a number of forts were you can view a bit of the military history. For nature lovers, North Dakota is a truly stunning place. You can see Bison, birds, fish, and many species of flowers. Those who enjoy prehistoric history can also dig for fossils. Some of the places you will want to visit during your stay include the Theodore Roosevelt National Park and The Geographical Center of North America. The International Peace Garden can be found within the Turtle Mountains. It is estimated that there are nearly 400 species of birds in this state, and this makes North Dakota one of the most ideal places for bird watching. Those who are looking for good food will want to head to the Totten Trail, which has great food for competitive prices.
